This video was made entirely by AI. I prompted it to generate a video of someone like me showcasing some of the things I might be doing professionally. Throughout my time in MEJO 782 (Digital Content Creation), we really played around with AI. We made AI personas, infographics, data visualizations, video ads and even songs. While AI is great at things like writing, simple photos or even creating certain types of videos, it’s still not perfect. The graphics were sloppy and the video was still not quite right. However, it was interesting to see the advancement made in AI during our time in class. Some of these include OpenAI upgrading their Sora, or Particle6 coming out with an entirely AI actress named Tilly Norwood. When I think about the future of my career and how AI is going to affect my job, I’m concerned but still not too worried. AI still isn’t great at making certain types of marketing materials. However, I’m sure it will continue to advance. I think if anything, my work will become AI assisted and not entirely AI generated. Overall, I’m realizing that AI is here to stay, but there are still areas where human abilities outshine it.
